# Quick Start Guide - Photo Editor
## Prerequisites
First, install libraw on your system:
**macOS:**
```bash
brew install libraw
```
## Building the Project
```bash
cd PhotoEditor/photo_editor
cargo build --release
```
The executable will be created at:
```
./target/release/photo_editor
```
## Quick Usage Examples
### Basic Processing
```bash
# Process a RAW file with no adjustments
./target/release/photo_editor \
--input sample.raw \
--output output.jpg
```
### With Adjustments
```bash
# Process with exposure and contrast adjustments
./target/release/photo_editor \
--input sample.raw \
--output enhanced.jpg \
--exposure 0.5 \
--contrast 20 \
--highlights -10
```
### Show Help
```bash
./target/release/photo_editor --help
```
## What's Included
This photo editor supports all 11 adjustment parameters:
- Exposure (-2.0 to 2.0)
- Contrast (-100 to 100)
- Highlights (-100 to 100)
- Shadows (-100 to 100)
- Whites (-100 to 100)
- Blacks (-100 to 100)
- Clarity (-100 to 100)
- Vibrance (-100 to 100)
- Saturation (-100 to 100)
- Temperature (-100 to 100)
- Tint (-100 to 100)
The tool integrates directly with the libraw C library for professional RAW image processing.
